Mathieu Philippe - Mystic Garden Festival Mix

Starting in 1996 with a mixer without an EQ and two belt driven turntables, Mathieu Philippe for sure knows what DJing is about.

Not only limiting himself to playing electronic music, student parties and jazz nights are among his specialties as well.

After organising highschool parties since the age of 16, student parties were his next thing. But things became big when he started organising raves with his mates for Utrecht's house scene.

Having organised several parties with the guys from GrooveRoots and SlapFunk, Mathieu decided to go in a slightly different direction with some mates, which turned into Boze Buren (Mad Neighbours) after having so many regular neighbour complaints during his basement parties. But after two years of Boze Buren his interest in certain aspects of the parties had shifted and he stepped out.

At the moment he's focusing on organising the Liefhebberij raves, helping out other Utrecht based party organisations production-wise, renting his speaker systems to all kinds of customers, playing at all sorts of parties in and around Utrecht and releasing quality DJ sets now and then.
