Baroque Angel unveils Heaven Sent, a debut full-length album where club music collides with emotional urgency. Across eight tracks, Baroque navigates the afterglow of the big city, divine drama, and the fragility of becoming. From the haunting introspection of “Theodicy” and “Far from heaven” to the anthemic rage of “Lashing out”, the record unfolds like a transmission from a future altar, somewhere between the rave and resurrection. Born from long nights of solitude, shared dancefloors, and spiritual inquiry, Heaven Sent reflects a journey of transformation in sound and self. The album plays with contrasts: softness and distortion, tenderness and power, euphoria and collapse, echoing Baroque Angel’s own emotional landscape. Rather than offer resolution, these tracks invite listeners into liminal space: where joy aches, and catharsis comes in waves.

Entirely produced and mixed by Baroque Angel, the album features collaborations with dry and CyberKills, adding layers of texture and tension to an already emotionally charged work. From fragmented vocals to percussive rushes, the sound design draws from house, electro-pop, techno, and cinematic atmospheres — all filtered through a queer, ecstatic lens. This is club music as prayer, plea, and release.

All tracks are mastered by producer and DJ Bright Clouds. Visual identity comes courtesy of creative director and photographer Iuri Lis and graphic artist Bolaxitas, whose work channels the album’s vision of sacred art meets electro-pop dystopia. Heaven Sent arrives August 1st.

Premiere: Ben Hoo edits System Of Survival's 'Kutting' with Balearic melody

Today's premiere brings the first cut of Get Physical's Ibiza 2017 compilation curated specially by Ben Hoo with the artist's remix of System Of Survival's 'Kutting' featuring Vhelade.

The London native, now known as one of Ibiza's most celebrated residents, has collected tracks representing the party-culture island including work by Tantsui, Clara Brea, Peter W and Nma Gorji. The 15-piece assortment also includes five ​original and remixed tunes by Hoo.

'Kutting' starts with a beautiful, light flowing piano riff that seamlessly transforms with the addition of spiritual, echoing vocals and quickening percussion. Its melody brings listeners smoothly into an Ibiza sunrise set with its mellow yet bright beating essence.

'Get Physical Presents Ibiza 2017 Mixed and Compiled by Ben Hoo' will release via Get Physical Music on June 23.

The discription should be: “The Smooth Gardens” is a sensual and groovy track from the brother duo @parallellsofficial and @abundance-live in which they combine many instruments and organic sounds to Thomas from @parallellsofficial' crooner voice.

The EP refers to The Gardens of Babylon movement in Amsterdam, who redefined the music and event experience. It is a family where all of the EP’s artists are part of.

The inspiration also came during Amsterdam Dance Event. A week filled with musical influences. In that sense, The Smooth Gardens is a hymn to dance, where the smooth groove of the track is slowly reaching parts of your body and is leading them to move, sway and dance.

The EP includes two powerful remixes. The first one is from the couple duo @kmln-berlin bringing a rhythmical edge to it. The second one is from @noraj-cue and @undersmusic bringing a powerful clubby vibe. No doubt both versions will shake the dance floors!
