The dust has barely settled from ODD’s landmark ‘ODDyssey’ EP yet Arjun Vagale and Ramiro Lopez continue to shell us with more fresh fire. This time it’s down to Berlin-based producers Kevin de Vries and Weska. 

Once again, they’re two new names to the label. Once again, they’re on-point next-gen producers with a collective discography that includes Drumcode, Tronic, Advanced and Kraftek. Once again, the beats are pure floor fuel with the focus set firmly on timelessness. 

We premiere ‘Shape’ which seals with deal with an industrial strength sense of pneumatic, springy funk. Loaded with chops, humanised stabs and a rolling machine funk sensibility that could crush warehouses and underground clubs alike, there’s no messing around with grooves like this. 

Marking a year of outstanding, forward-thinking releases and exciting rising talent, ODD have been one of the best new label success stories in techno this year.
