Dirty bass constructions, pounding rhythms, and cinematic melodies characterize Bons' (https://soundcloud.com/bonsdnb) debut on the Hamburg-based label Insomnius Music. With 'Hammer / Strike,' the artist melds dynamic Drum and Bass and captivating beats into an exhilarating atmosphere.

Hailing from Novi Sad, Bons is an emerging talent in the Drum and Bass world. Inspired by his brother, he discovered his passion for the genre in the early 2000s. Since 2011, he has amazed audiences with DJ sets that skillfully intertwine Neurofunk with rolling and minimalist beats. His debut EP, 'Science Fiction,' released in 2017, caught attention, leading to releases on renowned labels. His signature sound is defined by the adept fusion of Balkan film samples and video game elements with energetic low frequencies.

In line with this symbiosis, Bons infuses his release 'Hammer / Strike' with a rich and enthralling vibe, coupled with celestial force. 'Hammer' blends pulsating pads, piercing lead sounds, and a deep, growling bass. Extraterrestrial lead synthesizers break through the storm, and the mission of the fully automated bass hammer is clear: to utterly destroy the dance floor! 'Strike' is an energizing track with explosive bass, an engaging aura, and an electrifying rhythm. It kicks off with dramatic pads and piano arpeggios, making room for the giant alien robot spider, currently binding synapses with slimy threads. Bons delivers two tracks that captivate from start to finish.

The vocal sample sears into minds as people rise, their voices united in defiant chorus and fists raised high. In 'Manifest,' a dramatic arrangement guides us through an initially uncertain path. The spirit of the people is as strong as the distinct drums, and together we strive for a better world. The truth remains hidden, only occasional hints emerge: the basslines engage in a question-answer game to pierce the veil. The answers are present, waiting for someone brave enough to discover them. some of the Forbidden Society cuts reworked by some masters within the genre.The release opens with a hypnotizing ''The Clamps'' remix of the label anthem ''Street Justice''.The staggering drums work great with the bassline and intrusive synth blips. The emotive ambiancethat is introduced throughout makes for a great alternation. Second up is signature snare-man ''Donny'' who delivers a banging reword of Forbidden Society's BWM. Hardcore Drum & Bass music at it's finest,  it's all about the drums in this one. South African duo ''Counterstrike'' come up with a remix for ''Sellout''. This is a peak time rework, placing the emphasis on top notch drum-breaks and some funked out elements that  should strike a chord with lovers of the label. Hallucinator are reworking the ever so dark ''NYC Punk''. This fast paced theme is pumped up a notch with great care for the original. Label regular ''Katharsys'' does an adventurous reword of 'Skullcrawler' which stands out in originality. The pack is finished by S9 who creates havoc with his tremendous ''Outlaw'' remix.
