First experiment in chromatic sequencing.  A bit of an auditory illusion; the bass and synth notes perceived are actually a product of micro-looping the waveforms of various drum hits in the song.  This one will likely be used in pieces throughout a few of my newer productions.

But, as each of those blessed by God fall prey to the cold steel probes, instinct prevails.  The angels hold true to their unwavering love for all and gracefully croon sine-wave songs of forgivenes and love, especially toward the ruthless mechanism ripping them apart.

MIDI-free creation using a few loops of a RageAgainstTheMachine track, an a capella version of Missy Elliot's "Get Yo' Freak On", and some chops from "Minute Man" to gap the bridge.  Beat Repeaters and Glitching VSTs are fun and useful live, but you will find none of that, here.  This is true "gridwave generation": audio editting cuts, snippets, and slices with chromatic control over grid resolution.  O-O-O-Open ya' mouth! [a|a|a|h|h|h|h|h] Give you a taste!

Glitch Yo' Rage On - Missy vs RATM (Mathrok's Gridwave Mashup)

     Mathrok, founding member of the relatively unknown Polyform collective, is an outlet for my experimental electronic music.  What you will find in my recordings, remixes, edits, and breakbeat/glitch-rooted productions is an intense methodology for complete harmonic continuity and "glitch-tonality" spanning all the audio that enters and/or exits my soundcard.
     While MATH is a four letter word for many of my peers, I must pay homage to this sacred and single truth.  Those who already have a blast with binary, hexidecimal, the frequency continuum, graphical data, etc know they are already ahead of the game.  Those who do not, will continue to linger in obscurity.  Party like a comet is at your fucking doorstep, people, but never turn your nose up at information.
     I am also a traditional instrumentalist, a dedicated turntablist, an innovative controllerist, and a talented lyricist.  I am currently completing the work necessary to bond these skills and emerge as a versatile DSPerformer.      Other members of the Polyform collective (Sub-Stem, Haka-Demik, Dartfrog, Unum, and Demon/E) utilize the same methods in their productions with results that have dramatically improved every production process from organization to quality to mixing to mastering.  Our goal is to make these techniques known world-wide and evolve the artforms we all love so much.
