This is an improve jam with Ryan Dioliviera from back in 2018. Recorded on a hand held Tascam. 

Ryan is an absolute beast on the guitar, and i'm on the drums.

Ambient Improve

This is a straight up basement jam from 2017 at the Rahimly's house. This jam features the powerhouse duo Ryan and Robbie Rahimly on the bass and drums. 

I'm playing all the synths and yell singing without a mic haha.

Its always special jamming with these two. They bring so much energy and creativity to every session.

Red Rock

This is an improvised composition inspired by my cat Callie. 

Here's the story behind this tune. 

After my wife rescued this ball of joy from a farm, we took her into our family. After about 3 years, and after considerable deliberation, we decided it would be best to have her fixed. 

The reason being she was in heat quite often, like monthly, if not biweekly, and we wanted to make sure her hormones weren't driving her too crazy. 

We delayed doing this because we didn't want the surgery to change her personality or make her less active. She loves to play, yelp, and climb on top of and into everything. 

Over time we found that when the heat was hot,  piano music really helped her relax.

So while see was in her operation, I was feeling a great deal of emotions (I love my pets like family) and since I knew she would need time in isolation to heal, I thought I would make her a song. SO I sat down on my DAW and this song just came to life in one take. 

The surgery went very well, but we did learn that she had a polycystic uterine condition which made her go into heat far more frequently than normal. The Doc hadn't seen this condition in his 30 years of experience, and wanted to keep it to study haha. Her uterus was equivalent to the size of a 40lb dog's uterus. 

Moral of the story take your pets to the Vet.
