HESU Little Bastard - Metal with tight hidden track

This time I tried three new things:
1. Lately I'm getting bored with higain/extra tight/A drop stuff so I played in standard E using Marshall sim in Bias
2. I used Positive Grid Final Touch for mastering track and I have to admit it did a great job!
3. I choose new location for video :)

Special thanks for my wife. She did a great job as a camera operator!

EMG 81 vs Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB-1

This is my video comparison of most 2 most popular bridge active pickups EMG81 and Seymour Duncan Blackout.
For the comparison I used exactly same setting for both guitars.
I used Peavey Revalver with simulation of Peavey 6505 + custom cab impulse.
For drums I used SD 2.0. Bass was programmed in Spectrasonics Trilian.

Fairly simple song which is some kind of neurotic dream.
What makes it huge it's a drop-G tuning and slow tempo.

Since I don't have a 7 or 8 string anymore, I decided to use my old Epiphone SG Custom Prophecy EX to make it alive.
Before that I switch positions of EMG81/85 pickups so now in a bridge position you can hear EMG85.
It's less tight but more ballsy and I think in this song is more important.

Guitars was recorded via Roland Quad Capture into Cubase. 
I double tracked rhythm guitars: first with EMG81 and second with EMG85. Then blend them about in a way that EMG85 is my main sound.

Guitars are processes with Peavey Revalver.
Drums are SD 2.0 and bass is generated by Spectrasonics Trilian.
I also use A LOT Toontrack EZmix 2 VST plugin because it's great for fast and efficient work.

Vocals was recorded using Audiotechnica ATM33a.

I decided to cover this song because I simply love it. Once again it's fairly simple stuff, but main riff is somehow addictive, so I can't stop listen to it nor play it. Lucky me because Sławek and Wiktor also like this piece of art, so we could virtually play it together. I also mastered my mixing skills here a little bit. Hope you like it!

Death Metal Demo with Laney Ti12-115 and LTD H-1007 (EMG81-7)

This time I had a chance to borrow Krank Rev. Jr Pro 20W for 2 weeks. This is a really great little amp and it's hard to believe that it has only 20W because this thing is LOUD as F..CK!  I think it's due to two 6L6 power tubes instead of EL84 which are used by other little amp heads manufacturers.

Gibson Les Paul - Metal in drop G ??? Yes! With help from Digitech Whammy it's more than possible!

TBH I'm really surprised how good Digitech Whammy is dropping tuning without hearable artifacts even on palm muted riffs and open chords. I was trying to achieve sound similar to well knows death core band and was enough to have what needed! 
► Fairly bright sounding Burstbucker Pro pickups
► Low action on Gibson LP with fairly high frets
► Whammy obviously
► Neural DSP Archetype: Gojira and AFAIK amp I was using was modeled after EVH 5150III.
