Here she delves into her Eastern European roots and forms a collaboration with legendary Lithuanian singer Alanas Chosnau. This is classic, GU deep house at its finest - sweet strings, deep bass, and a beautiful vocal. What more could you ask for?

Spanish deep house and disco producer Chanknous has a sound that is close to our heart, and with releases on Deepalma and collaborations with the likes of Lee Wilson, he's in that bubbling-under zone that we love to develop. Christian Nielsen has never been one for musical pigeonholes, but with his new 'Pull Up' EP on Pets Recordings, the Danish producer takes that ethos to its logical extreme. Two tracks. Two distinct moods. One cohesive, club-ready package.

Made not in some plush Berlin bunker but in the most democratic of studios - his kitchen, after the kids were asleep - the limited time and space, allowed Christian to focus on what really matters - the groove, the vibe, and making every sound count.

The title track, 'Pull Up', is pure peak-time propulsion: raw, rhythmic rap vocals locked tight to a driving, big room chassis, built for the kind of dancefloor moments when the energy shifts from simmer to boil. Flip it to 'Infinity', and the mood changes to melodic,   yet propulsive textures with a more a spacious arrangement that's designed for losing yourself.

'I wanted to create something that feels both nostalgic and fresh,' Nielsen says. 'The idea was to capture that spontaneous energy you get when unexpected elements collide in the right way.'

Mat.Joe began as a project between Matthias and Johannes, two young men based in Berlin with a deep connection to music. Back in 2006, Rap, Breakdance and Skateboarding were the passions that kickstarted their friendship and this deep connection is reflected in their music. In 2008, they formed the producer team Twomanics and concentrated on authentic and credible hip hop productions for independent artists.
As of 2024, Matthias takes on his music career as an individual, carrying the legacy that Mat.Joe has built over the last decade. Over the years, Mat.Joe has developed their trademark sound of house beats paired with rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements. The result is deep and dancefloor-qualified, warm and rough. Inspiration is found everywhere between subway rides, late night showers and favorite bars - and new ideas are always on the way, evolving with the always-changing culture of dance music and growing with the artist.
