After having his collaborations album "Together Alone" released this summer on Katermukke, Marc is now back with his first solo release after more than a year – and hes presenting a different touch. Back to the basics, focusing on the bassline with this typical MDP guitar basses in addition to putting his fingers on well known anthems. ‘Dear Life’ is the next chapter for Claptone and the second glimpse of his first full-length set for release in Autumn 2015. The mysterious enigma with the golden mask has gone from strength to strength of late, following an acclaimed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, a Beatport chart-topping smash remix of Gregory Porter and an incredible live show at the Miami Ultra Music Festival.
 
The single breaks new ground for Claptone as he delves deeper into songwriting. This time he is reunited with French singer Jaw (1/3 of production trio dOP) with whom he previously worked on ’No Eyes’, a big record for him back in 2013 on the notorious Berlin House label Exploited. In the new offering ‘Dear Life’ Claptone has created a spellbinding dance floor ready anthem that’ll sound just as good on your home stereo.

The masked figure recently shared teaser 'The Music Got Me', the first taste of the album and a track which went on to reach the top 5 on Beatport’s deep house chart, as did B-side Forest of Love. For the club heads, Claptone and Jaw deliver a second cut ‘Secret Lover’, a track packed with raw funk and a highlight of his recent Essential Mix.

We proudly welcome back German maestro Sascha Braemer to Sincopat, this time for his first solo EP on the label after providing a huge remix for AFFKT some months ago. The forward-thinking 'Vyolence' EP includes three original tracks and one remix by the proven talents Florian Kruse and Julian Wasserman.
'Vyolence' opens the fireworks with an unpredictable slice of electronic music. A mixture of several influences, huge synth layers are treated into a solid base making a crossover timeless piece that perfectly reflects the legendary Braemer's sound. For the remix duties, Florian and Julian offer a groovy re-interpretation also difficult to pigeonhole in a certain style, with a great new bass but still keeping the essence of the original one. On 'Analog Garden' Sascha presents another bomb with a remarkable synth as a hook along the track, more and more pure sounds are developed in the surprising breakdown that leads to madness. 'Capella' is closing the EP with an avant- garde atmosphere that, for sure, will make the release a new step forward in the Braemer sound and discography.

Mat.Joe began as a project between Matthias and Johannes, two young men based in Berlin with a deep connection to music. Back in 2006, Rap, Breakdance and Skateboarding were the passions that kickstarted their friendship and this deep connection is reflected in their music. In 2008, they formed the producer team Twomanics and concentrated on authentic and credible hip hop productions for independent artists.
As of 2024, Matthias takes on his music career as an individual, carrying the legacy that Mat.Joe has built over the last decade. Over the years, Mat.Joe has developed their trademark sound of house beats paired with rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements. The result is deep and dancefloor-qualified, warm and rough. Inspiration is found everywhere between subway rides, late night showers and favorite bars - and new ideas are always on the way, evolving with the always-changing culture of dance music and growing with the artist.
