Pan-Pot may have had the best year ever after their recent hit, „Captain My Captain“ garnered positive feedback from fans and highly regarded DJs and producers alike – making them a throbbing phenomenon. Their first live gig at Sven Väth’s infamous Cocoon party at Amnesia in Ibiza may have caused the ambitious duo to produced more sweat than the ring of igniting fireworks surrounding them at „Awakenings“ in Holland, but it respectively pinned them on the map as internationally recognized artists. When the phone call came in from their idols from Slam, two new remixes were born on the „20 Years of Soma“ compilation. Thomas Benedix and Tassilo Ippenberger not only made their first impression on camera in 2011, but on the tops of charts as well.

Thus, mobilee presents Pan-Pot’s „Gravity“, the first single release after their successful outputs: „Captain My Captain“ and the „Lifetimes“ remixes. The release doubles as a teaser to the sixth edition of the successful „Back to Back“ compilation series.

Blasting off the A-side is „Gravity“, a high-tempo number picking up linear momentum verse after verse, featuring serious vocals by G-Tech. On the flip, Cari Golden’s soulful vocals chime in and out of the expressional „No One Knows“. Safeword, a magnetic duo comprised of Clint Stewart and Marc Smith from San Francisco, remix „Gravity“ through heaven and hell as „Sunset“ delivers a calm and spiritual opening piece slowly easing the listener into „Tenderloin“, a dark, grave track with subdued vocals and feeble beats.

In a whirlwind of triumph, this release is only a pint-sized preview of bigger things to come as „Pan-Pot The Documentary“ makes its way to a cinematic premiere in Berlin on February 21, 2012. The 2011 tour-docu will be included in DVD form as part of the „mobilee Back To Back Vol. 6 - Presented by Pan-Pot“ compilation package.

We are very exited to present two tracks that our Danish resident artist Mathias Mesteño has send us. Mathias has been part of the Upon.You family since day one. He occaisionally also released his classic and still very individual formed house tracks on Freerange and Tic Tac Toe Records. If you count his collaboration with our UY boss Marco Resmann, then here comes his fifth release on Upon.You! The Boulevard Confessions EP comprehends two tracks. On A1 he is cooking in 'Keke´s Kitchen' an outrageous whorled open air slammer, which cant wait to be initiated on the beaches around the world. 
The B-side- the 'Concrete Boheme' seems more calm but finds it´s use and purpose as a deep-house track in the forests of modern styles. Like always Mathias suddenly rolls up the beat and is sure to surprise the consumer with unlikely rhythm variations.

The Cheapers - Amazeballs 128 Promo Snippet

In 2011 it got a little quiet around the co-productions of Fraenzen Texas and Ruede Hagelstein aka The Cheapers. But since the beginning of the new year the lights don`t go out in their studio doing beats and sound. Next to releases on Areal Records and Bar25 the UY063 was born. Title of the name giving A-side goes back on a quote from Paris Hilton who wants to tell with "Amazeballs" how super cool she finds things. Anyway the two artists made it real with their concise bassline which will make the people reliably squeak more than hobby DJane Hilton. On the B-side things turn a bit more severe: "Egyptian Summer" quotes with samples the Arabic spring in Africa and produces a revolutionary ground mood which has never been heard before. On B2 however there are the cheaperesque absurdities on the microfon like we know them... depositing skillfully their own vocals in the belly of a hungry electro monster.

We are pleased to present three new Samuel Dan tracks! Our Spanish bro strikes once again, after his Sweet & Sour contribution and the UY049. For his second solo release on Upon.You, Samuel has gotten himself enhancement. Carlos Pico sings and raps over the complete B-side. True to the style of the times, the infinite worlds of techno and house collect diverse influences on the UY069. 'Good Love' on A1 definitely nibbles on the hit-earlap, whereas all tracks together combine to a strong innovative collective. Doesn't matter if with old-school nuances on B1 in 'Watching You' or on the softly rave touched 'Feel The Change' on B2- every track belongs on the dance floor.
