Axe FX II Amp Test Nr. 1 w/ OH Mix IRs

This is not a tone clone attempt of Gilmour's sound but a just-for-fun recording with a new lead patch that I've been working on!

Recorded with the Axe FX II on Firmware 11.02 using the new Brit JM45 Jumpered amp sim through OwnHammer's "OH MAR-CB V30-EN SS STUD-VNTG" mix IR.

THE DIVE is an instrumental song that I wrote and performed making heavy use of the "Guitar Resonator" by Vibesware, a novel kind of sustainer that really gave this track a unique vibe.

Inspired by Luc Besson's 1988 movie Le Grand Bleu, the song tells the tale of a free diver's preparation, dive and resurfacing (or maybe not? ;)).

Sunset Memories

This is the new extended version of "Sunset Memories", featuring what I call the "pissed off acoustic guitar" near the end! ;-)

Sunset Memories (Director's Cut)

A little sunday evening jam I recorded after stumbling upon a really cool Axe FX II preset by Fractal Audio forum wizard yek that features a synth pad. All you hear is a live recorded single track with all sounds coming from the Axe FX.

I played my brand new Fender Eric Clapton signature strat and used the Vibesware Guitar Resonator to get the feedback/sustainer sounds.

"Resurrection" Jam with Axe FX II

A quick test to see how the Vibesware Guitar Resonator (sustainer) sounds when played with an electric bass instead of guitar. 

The result: It feels and sounds very similar compared to the electric guitar!
