This one is niiiice... Jason likes my music & has actually used some of my songs for other runway shows of his (one was just featured in Vogue ooo). I composed a piece that is an extension of previous works of mine, namely the album Pleasure. I also walked in Jason's runway for SWAIA! The morning of, he & I met in person for the first time at the check-in table. He scanned me & asked, "Do you model?" I said no, to which he replied, "WOULD you model?" .. hehe

This mix is dedicated to all the gay babies that grow up without the privilege of having either parents present in their lives. For the gay babies that grow up in foster homes and group homes. For the gay babies that have to leave their homes because the trauma of surviving in the neighborhood outweighs the possibility of healing. This mix is for anyone interested in the ceremonia de la cumbia.

I just want to give a special shoutout to my homegirl Mare.E.Fresh for helping me develop this mix. To my mentor, Sonido Ozzy for constantly encouraging me to continue to develop my skills and reminding me to always give back to the community.” 

About SIN AMORES:
Crystal Mendoza (she/her/they/them) aka Sin Amores was born in Indio, Califas and raised in East Los Ángeles, Boyle Heights and Mexicali, Baja Califas. Crystal moved to the Bay Area 8 years ago and during that time she has had the privilege of working as a case manager for undocumented/system involved youth and families. Crystal has grown not only as a DJ but an event curator as well (she is a part of the Cumbiatón family). Crystal is the proud mother of Malaki, the 3.4 pound chihuahua who will melt your heart. Crystal is currently working towards developing an intro to djing workshop: the basics course for youth of color/ unaccompanied youngsters/ gay babies that reside in the Mission District of San Panchito.
