Always pushing beyond her comfort zone and exploring new horizons in production, this new year will certainly come as a new challenge for @matisaxx, and we’re super proud to see her kicking off 2024 with us.

Through her musical journey and especially in her recent busy months, we can easily feel the intense passion, dedication and excitement in everything she does.

Trusting her creative process, she’s taking the right time to craft and share the kind of music that hits deep and touches the soul, by bringing back memories and creating new ones in an instant. 

The many experiences and connections shared with the crowd behind the decks are Matisa’s main sources of inspirations for these two tracks, as she explains :

“The energy that fuels BABY DISCO emanates from the passion and excitement of my audience. It is this very energy that drives me to create and perform. Within each of us lies a powerful force that ignites when we engage in our passions. For me, that force is awakened when I am behind the booth, observing my audience move and groove to the beat of my music. BABY DISCO seeks to ignite that same energy in all who listen to it.”

Both emotionally charged and calling back to the late 90s era, BABY is a catchy and club-ready jam with eurodance feeling, while DISCO is a blissful piano house banger, perfectly fitted for radiant and joyful dances.

We’re really pleased to have @chloerobinsondj & @djadhdgotbngrz bringing the sound of London to this EP. Following acclaimed collab EPs and explosives mixes blending techno, electro, grime and UK garage, the impeccable pair got their hands on BABY and delivered a bass-heavy, incredibly infectious club banger.

And to wrap things up, Melbourne selector, producer, remixer and rising star @aldonna brings her always thrilling groove to DISCO, flawlessly throwing balearic heat, prog house euphoria, and touches of acid-trance to the mix.

CC:DISCO! launches the Miami Daddy label with Jennifer Loveless collab, ‘Magic (Is In The Tempo)’.

‘Magic (Is In The Tempo)’ is seven minutes of deep sonic bliss, combining sensual vocals from Canadian-born DJ/producer Jennifer Loveless, organic percussion and an elastic bassline that lifts the groove toward the stars. A sparser Midnight Mix brimming with Balearic late-night energy features dreamy blues guitar that ebbs and flows between the intricate pockets of space under cosmic synth details.

Huge, triumphant return for the man they know as Olsvangèr. This might be the most radiant, life-affirming manifestation of his devotion to trippy dancefloor propulsion.

If last year’s EP with fellow Tofistock co-founder MYKI was the pre-induction, ‘OYSTER51’ signals his full initiation. Solo manoeuvres from the Berlin-based producer and starts as he means to go on with the buoyant flex and ‘90s nostalgia of opening cut ‘Grand Slammin’. Blissed-out vocals vocoded beyond recognition, this is pure dancefloor jubilation but not at the expense of directness or heft.

Clearly, he’s no stranger to a late-nite tech house incursion either. Where ‘Paranoweed’ comes thru with the tuff, full-bodied groove, ‘Bubble Toy’ recalls the oddball, mescaline-strength tribalism of his DJ Headshot alias. Then, just as uplifting as its predecessors, ‘Quadi B’ shuts things down with a heady, levitational dose of fractal fuel.

Fresh on Correspondant is Matrefakt’s new EP, Statik. Hailing from Liverpool, this dynamic duo met through their mutual passion for electronic music, and began their creative journey together in 2018. Since then, they've built an impressive catalog of releases and launched their own label, Attitudes to Life. With Statik, they continue to push their signature sound into bold new territory. The title-track starts off strong, with in your face four-to-the-floor kicks, and searing guitar riffs. Aktiv Measures locks into a hypnotic groove, driven by a pulsating bassline and acid-drenched synths. Both tracks strip club music to its essence—pure, unfiltered energy with zero excess. Rising star Kuo Climax’s EP on Emerald City entitled ‘Tomorrow’ features two profound originals with a stellar remix from fellow Spanish artist Dennis Cruz.
 
“In my childhood living with my parents we always listened to Hip Hop and R&B,’ said Kuo Climax of the EP. ‘I have attempted to mix these influences using my early memories as inspiration and I’m so pleased to see it finally released on Emerald City.”
 
Kuo Climax aka Felipe Jimenez Gálvez hails from Malaga in Spain, where starting out he quickly turned his event series at Pier 4 into a regular roadblock before using the shows as a platform to launch his own DJ career. Now going from strength to strength as an artist in his own right, Kuo has a stacked release schedule going well into 2017 and a touring calendar that spans Europe’s biggest clubbing destinations.
 
Madrid native Dennis Cruz made his debut in 2010 and has since made a name for himself as one of the most talented Spanish artists leading the way today, gaining an army of supporters including Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Maudaber and Timo Maas to name a few. For his remix of ‘Tomorrow’ he dominates the dance floor with heavy rolling percussion, utilising the luscious vocals cuts to add that sensual touch.
