As a central figure in international underground scene, Matriark has steadily built a name through a thoughtful, no-nonsense approach to djing. Her sets are marked by a deep affinity for stripped-back techno, warm percussion, and hypnotic grooves, often balancing minimalism with emotional depth. Whether in a sweaty basement, an open-air rave, or a tightly curated club night, she brings a distinct presence—focused, precise, and always listening. Alongside her work behind the decks, Matriark is also known for her curatorial role in several local initiatives, helping to shape and support a more inclusive and sustainable club culture in Copenhagen.

“My mixes don’t always need to represent what I would play in my DJ sets, because that depends on many other aspects (the party, set time, location, etc.). But I like to have a theme, mood, or genre for myself to keep it interesting. It’s been a long time since I made a trance mix, and for this platform it makes a lot of sense to me. This mix is inspired by all the amazing trance I’ve been hearing on the dancefloor this summer. Hope you like it!”
