Inspired by Dark Disco artists met when living in Europe, Matrika unapologetically kicks off this progressive journey below 110 BPM. Crafted during the Aboriginal season of Djeran when the nights become cooler in Western Australia, this dark hypnotic mix is an invitation to the slower dance, to remain playful and grounded whilst the winds change. 🏹🔷🖤

90mn high-octane atmospheric mix curated for the long drive to Pox-Eclipse WA. Drenched in hypnotic synth-waves, rock and roll riffs and electro drums, this dark-ish yet playful journey was inspired by the intense Mad Max Australian post-apocalyptic action film series and the mysterious vast wastelands of the beautiful District of Yilgarn, home of the first Wasteland Weekender in Western Australia in October 2022.
