Black Rainや、SkizologicとのユニットThe SquareとしてリリースしたKiba remixに続き、イスラエルのレーベルZion 604のオーナーであり、イスラエルのゴアトランスシーンの重要人物であるRoy SasonによるPranaのMoretsu Remixを2021年3番目のリリース作品としてリリース!!

95年にバイナルでリリースされた当時のサウンドを忠実に再現し、アレンジも加えたこのMoretsu Remixは、オールドスクールゴアトランスを愛すダンサー全てに聞いて欲しい作品。

Matsuri Digital is delighted to announce yet another fantastic Prana remix by our friend Roy Sason of Zion 604, this time the brilliant and powerful Moretsu.

With his attention to capturing the ‘space music’ spirit of the heyday of the Goa scene in the 90s while adding the latest in production and composition techniques, Roy has crafted a masterful remix of this cosmic Prana classic. Uplifting and energizing without being manic, this track has amazing oscillating figurations, cosmic whooshes, an old-school mystical harmonic flavour, and an incredibly joyful bounce to its bass, punctuated by some funky percussion and synth sounds.

7.Astral Projection - Time Begun With The Universe - GoKen Remix - 2019

Matsuri Digital releases its next psychedelic dance music compilation on April 13 with Forever Psychedelic 2. The first Forever Psychedelic compilation was released in 1998 and was evolutionary in its variety of tempos and beats at a time when four-on-the-floor kicks were the norm. Twenty years later, Matsuri revisits this exploratory approach to present an updated and equally varied journey: new tracks and remixes of old favourites, familiar artists and new ones, with today’s production standards but timeless psychedelia inspired by the global dance movement that was expanding in the 90s. 

The compilation opens with a bouncy, groovy remix of a classic early Matsuri track - Endora’s Joy, first released in 1996 - produced by Oforia and Dede together with label founder Tsuyoshi Suzuki. Tsuyoshi then joins forces with the Japanese New Goa project Jikooha for the acid track The Land of 505. Things then get groovy and deep with MTL’s track Megathrust, whose gnarly 135bpm kick supports an energizing fusion of percussive and synth riffs. The iconic James Monro is next with his track Vantage Point, with a streamlined futuristic groove and hypnotic loops before Kurosaki Tamao continues the mind-bending harmonic vibes with his driving but organic belter Future Om. Dede is next with his mind-altering Planet Drugs, driven by an uplifting kick, melting melodies, and acid lines before the legendary Oforia ends the compilation with ‘What did that make you feel?’, a momentum-filled track with echoing voices and an evocative harmonic flavour. 

With a wide array of psychedelic musical styles conceptualized with graphic design from the inimitable Japanese artist collective Organix, Matsuri Digital’s Forever Psychedelic 2 compilation is sure to be rocking parties all over the world. Tune in and blast off!

PRANA, aka Tsuyoshi Suzuki, is one of the biggest legends of this scene! Active since the early 90s, he is busy again with his biggest love… Old School Acid Goa Trance! The result? The first collaboration ever between an old school legendary label, Matsuri, and the biggest modern goa-label: Suntrip!


Prana – The Remixes 2015 is a mix between the best digital-only goa-trance remixes on Tsuyoshi’s revived label: Matsuri Digital and some other Remixes done by Suntrip artists!


The journey starts with a rhythmic, more experimental groover by another classic artist: Nervasystem. Followed by a more powerful and psychedelic version by Israeli Skizologic. The 3rd Boundless remix by Jagoa is more acidic. If you like old school acid-trance in the Green Nuns style, you’ll love this!
Alien Pets first remix is done by Imba… More groovy and acidic! Filteria makes sure the climaxes in the original are clearly still up to date and Trinodia continues with some spiraling madness.
Astral Projection's remix of Mugen is well known already, but we present you with another mixdown of the track! The final track is a favorite party-killer from Tsuyoshi… The Funkygong remix of Boundless… To make sure you end the cd with a smile!

Tsuyoshi Suzuki is an internationally-acclaimed DJ and producer from Tokyo. At the leading edge of the psychedelic trance movement for a quarter of a century, Tsuyoshi continues to thrill crowds all over the world with his uniquely focused style of mixing and psychedelic music selection.
A former art department film student at Nippon University in the 1980s, Tsuyoshi’s life turned to music when he was exposed to the evocative and futuristic DJ’ing of KUDO at the club Yellow in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo in the early 1990s. Visiting India and immersing himself in the emerging Goa sound, Tsuyoshi formed the band Taiyo (which would later become Prana) with Nick Taylor, who had also been influenced by KUDO’s music.
Tsuyoshi moved to London in 1992 to found Matsuri Productions with marketing manager John Perloff and to expand his work as a DJ. Producing popular releases on his record label while DJ’ing at the popular Return To The Source events in London, Tsuyoshi gained international popularity and was soon travelling across the globe, bringing his precisely-crafted energizing style of music to outdoor and indoor parties and festivals on every continent. Tsuyoshi’s influence extended into inspiring a collection of psychedelic clothing for the legendary Issey Miyake brand, designed by the collective Organix (who designed Matsuri’s labels), which involved Tsuyoshi DJing for fashion shows in Paris and Tokyo that featured the collection in 1997.
In 2000 he moved back to Tokyo and shifted focus to a wider range of electronic and analog musical styles with a new label, Madskippers, while also organizing the regular event Tokio Drome. He expanded from DJing into live music with his band Joujouka, which produces cross-platform electro psychedelic rock and fusion music.
In 2009, as Goa Trance started to enjoy a revival in Tokyo, Tsuyoshi re-started Matsuri Productions by rebranding as Matsuri Digital, working together with the young new DJ Yuta and other talented producers to bring the timeless Goa sound to a new generation. He has been producing more collaborative tracks in the last few years.
Tsuyoshi’s new project GoKen, with the ever-popular Japanese producer Ubar Tmar, is focused on updating psychedelic sounds with a 90s inspiration. 2018 sees GoKen’s debut EP released on HOMmega, while Tsuyoshi continues to take Matsuri Digital back to its roots with his compilations Sympathy in Chaos 4 and Forever Psychedelic 2 – refreshed and reinspired revisionings of psychedelic electronica.
As Matsuri Digital produces more releases of older tracks and newer productions, Tsuyoshi continues to be in demand as a DJ both at home in Japan and around the world. Over a quarter century after his exposure to electronic music, Tsuyoshi and Matsuri are continuing to evolve and shape the global scene.
