PAUL GLAZBY'S BIOGRAPHY

The name Paul Glazby is synonymous with the word Hard House. Having started out DJing in Sheffield back in 1998, it was less than two years later during 2000 that he first tried his hand at music production and launched the now iconic record label Vicious Circle Recordings. 
At the same time, Paul swiftly went about building a reputation as one of the most respected DJs on the UK Hard House circuit, and quickly became a man in great demand, not only throughout the United Kingdom, but all the way around the globe. Bringing his trademark dark and menacing sets to sold out crowds in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa too, his sound is one that is truly loved worldwide.

From the very start, his production work was impressive to say the least. When his first releases on VC, "Kick It" and "Rough n Tough" hit the shelves, it was clear to anybody listening, that his uncompromising style, made up of heavy kicks, gritty leads, and monster bass lines, was the sound of now and a clear sign of things to come. Wind the clock forward to today and Paul’s list of production work has grown exponentially, with club anthems such as "Beautiful" "Hostile" "Want Some?" "Tortured" "Love/Hate" and "Alien Animal" all being held to critical acclaim, and being played in clubs and house parties world over by his loyal devotees, while Vicious Circle Recordings has gone on to become one of the most respected labels around, with a discography filled with anthems & classics, produced by an A-list of artists that reads like a who’s who of the Hardhouse scene. This has ensured a large & loyal following, and the fact that they're still pumping out quality releases almost 15 years on, is a testament to the quality of the label and the producers that release their music on it.
