We are closing this eventful year with one last EP by a new signing to our roster. With releases on top labels like Innervisions, Stil vor Talent, Atjazz Records or Sum Over History, he has showcased his talent more than once by combining modern techno and house with afro house elements, in order to create his very own and distinctive style. 

The man we are talking about, who has delivered a mind blowing three tracker with his "Devil's Den EP" is the Dutch Rancido and we are happy to have him on Connaisseur now.  The title track "Devil's Den" is a reduced afro-tech monster with striking percussion elements and an incredibly deep and demanding groove. Since Human Machine used this tune in their podcast for Muting The Noise, this track hs been on the wish-list of many music lovers. The second installment "Patterns/Symbols" is a catchy builder with an alluring melody and clattering percussion. We are sure this will be on heavy rotation the in next weeks. With "Redemption" he has delivered an epic state-of-the-art Afro-House track and a perfect closing tune for this lovely EP.

Chaos In The CBD's Ben & Louis Helliker-Hales team up with long-time friend and collaborator Jon Sable to present their new imprint ‘In Dust We Trust.’

In Dust We Trust is an ode to a collection of friends who share a certain understanding, who live by a love and respect for the people around them. That friend who saves that last puff for you, that friend who will share their drink with you when you can't afford your own, that friend who will learn how to drive a car on the spot because you're too drunk to make it home.

Kicking things off with a release from Chaos In The CBD, ‘Accidental Meetings’ is a record that celebrates this way of living. The four cuts effortlessly move you through a journey of delicate textures and atmospheres. It begins with the late night basement sounds of the title track, then sends you through the spacious and meditative ‘North Pole Cafe.’ The wild rhythms of ‘United Identities’ hypnotise you, until you find yourself spat out by the energetic grooves of ‘Distorted Fields.’

Play it in the club, play it in the hotbox, or play it for your mum, this record is filled with soulful, rhythmically complex, melancholic music that is unmistakably dusty.

He Is The Voice I Hear’ is my first all new work since “Lady Of Sorrows.” It’s been a long journey from there to here. I’m so thrilled to continue the story and finally realize my dream of bringing together an ensemble of live musicians.

This record was a joy to create with my engineering and production partner, Rupert Murray, Davide Rossi on strings and Christoforo LaBarbera on keys. The vinyl was mastered and cut by Tim Xavier for Manmade Mastering.  We’ve also put some special touches into the design of the record itself. 

Incredible thanks to Adam Rowe, Andrew Gordon, Jake Nelson and everyone that helped make this record possible at all.

Sir LSG’s ‘Sandcastle’ features South African soul-sensation Ayanda Jiya on vocals and is the first single taken from his long awaited debut album not yet titled which is forthcoming mid of 2017.

Ayanda Jiya adds her gorgeous talent to the song. Growing up in a musical family, she was exposed and influenced by a lot of genres, mostly Gospel, Jazz, Neo Soul and RnB from an early age.

Contributing a remix is Josh Milan, who should not need an introduction to music lovers anymore. One half of legendary production team ‘Blaze’ which heavily influenced countless fellows and the House Music scene in general since mid of the eighties, he lately focused on his own imprint ‘Honeycomb’ with mutual success.

The COEO boys need no introduction anymore. Their two last singles made it into the sets of so many  DJs (..and went #1 on Traxsource and Juno). They are among the emerging artists of that new German scene of kids that make house inspired by old Jazz and Funk records. The boys are mad about rare vinyl. And they love to make music with a positive spirit. Yes, there is something sunny in their tracks. Something that instantly makes you want to move. We heard so many mixtapes that started with a COEO track. Makes sense: They are perfect to set a vibe. A good mood. But if you know that the COEO boys work in a studio over the roofs of Munich, with a fantastic view over the lights of the city, with a great vibe where you see all the glammy colors of the light in the night..Ö then you understand why COEO's music sounds as it sounds.
