Matt Bogard - December Mix - Dec 2021

Here is my second new mix for 2023. Now this one will throw you back to the good old days of Club Room Service - THE club to be at in Soho, London on Thursdays circa 2012!

It was my first ever professional DJ booking and holds a special place in my heart - it’s where it all began for me! 

Whilst moving recently I managed to get an old laptop running and there was a ready to record mix for the club which I never got around too!

So last night I recorded it fresh in my mini home studio! The tunes are sexy, bass heavy, vocal led and will make you sweat (if you let them) Back then I would have called it ‘Gangster House’ - probably a good for pumping in the gym or doing anything you feel you need a little kick to complete!

I really loved recoding something I had planned over a decade ago & I hope you enjoy listening as ever.

It inspired me to start work on some of my older mix series and get new episodes out & here is the first one!

My latest set is a selection of tracks that take me back and remind me of the sights, sounds and feelings of two 'section...genres or scenes' of the music industry, and my experience within it....Festivals/Summer Vocal House and Berlin Nightlife.

Starting off with some festival vibe vocal house to join people together singing, dancing away into the da  or night under a tent or in the open. Feel good, uplifting future favs of mine which I am sure the empty fields  this year definitely missed.  Then carefully bouncing you into a berlin style rave. Expect techno driven beats with just enough flavour and funk to keep you going to the end.
