This song starts out as a hard rock song, everything is distorted including a distinctive distorted bass line and all of a sudden I decided to tack an acoustic ballad and mix it on the end of it. I tried to represent the emotions of depression and frustration in the hard part and the acoustic part is supposed to represent feeling at piece.

Seasonal Depression

This song is basically about us and the animals in the sea being freer there than on the land. That's where the song's name come's from.  It has more of a punk rock feel to it even though it's not technically "punk".

ive had this beat since early high school and I always knew I was gonna use it on a rap song. I love rap and beats so I had to pay tribute to the people I look up to. I put my own touch on it. There's alot of social issue talk in it. Its a song for the people.

Ever since I was a young kid I have loved the Wu-Tang. When I first saw the video for Triumph with the Kiler Bees and their amazing rhymin, I was blown away. Since I was 7, they've been at the top for me. So if you ever hear this Wu Tang, peace to Ason Unique aka Dirty and you are all legends to me.

Iron Mountain on the Hill

This is one of my most personal songs; my best friend Derek wanted it on a mix along with other high profile artists/bands before he died which humbled me and I've never heard anyone say anything but good things about it. I made this version with strings and piano and it's dedicated to my daughter Sariah and another important person to me who passed away.

Birth of Our Sunset (strings version)

I never put this song up for whatever reason but I always felt an attachment to it. Maybe it's because this song is sung from a depressed point of view, which I was at the time but this was really heavily influenced by shoegazer, electronic, experimental and psychedelic music that I was getting into when I was like 16 in high school. Someone dear to me told me that this was genius and that still humbles me to this day. Hope you enjoy.

Overwhelmed (mastered 2016)

I love this song and I wanted to keep the swagger of the original while adding my own feel to it at the same time. Singing this with a male perspective was also interesting and fun, hope I did a good job.
