Description: More Rings Into Clouds. Marbles creates sequences of six notes (sometimes more or less) and Pam's modulates the spread and bias so the melody evolves.

This track was made with the sounds of the Yamaha PSS-480 plus a bit delay and reverb. The PSS-480 is small keyboard with 49 keys, 100 voices + styles, a synth section, song memory, custom drummer and MIDI in/out. It was released in 1988 and it's identical to the PSS-580 from 1989.

This tracks was made with the sounds of the Casio MT-400V only. It is a small keyboard with 49 mid-sized keys, 8 note polyphony, 12 styles, 20 tones, vibrato, sustain/reverb and stereo chorus. The main feature is an analog filter control. It was released in 1984, also in a larger version as the CT-410V.
I've only used the original sounds, rhythms and onboard effects .

This track was made with the sounds of the Yamaha PS-400 only. It's a small keyboard with 44 mid-sized keys, 8 note polyphony, 10 voices with sustain, 10 rhythms with variation, duet function, transposer and a chord sequencer. It was released in 1982. It sounds exactly the same as the PC-100 and MP-1 and was also released in a smaller and functions reduced version as the PS-300.
I used the original and sampled versions of the sounds along with some FX like phaser, chorus, reverb, delay and amp simulation.

Aurelia Brandenburg will im Rahmen ihrer Doktorarbeit die Entwicklung des „Gamer“-Selbstbilds im Laufe der Jahre analysieren. Die Primärquelle der Historikerin für diese Arbeit: Alte Spielemagazine der 80er und 90er.  Im Gespräch mit Dom Schott erklärt Aurelia Brandenburg ihre Vorgehensweise und warum sie all das überhaupt macht. Anschließend unternimmt das Duo gemeinsam einen Streifzug durch drei Spielemagazine um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen, wie Aurelia Forschungsarbeit in den nächsten Jahren aussehen könnte.
