A generative patch featuring the BIA as the only voice with effects from the Melotus Versio which is pretty amazing. Not very interesting musically, but sonically fun and a very complex patch for me.

Chance clocks Pam's which handles the modulation. Chance's Rhythm output triggers the Turing Machine which supplies the notes for the BIA.

The Turing Machine's notes are quantized by Scales.

Another sequencer, in this case the Octone, modulates Chance's Rhythm. Sometimes many notes are likely, sometimes unlikely. This same voltage is used to scrub through Scales banks, so the legal notes change every once in a while. 

A stepped random voltage from Pam's is added to the pitches from Scales so sometimes the range of legal notes shifts up or down.

That same voltage is sent to the Melotus Versio's TONE control, so lower ranges of notes tend to get the detuned subharmonics, and higher pitches tend to get the +1 octave shimmer.

Another version of this patch sent inverted some voltages and multed them so when Chance's Rhythm was low, and therefore only few notes, the BIA's Decay was long, and the Melotus' Tone was dark subharmonics. And the opposite was also true.

This meant when Chance was producing Many Notes, the BIA's decay was short, the pitches high, and the Melotus added the +1 octave shimmer.

When Chance was producing Few New, the BIA's decay was long, the pitches were low, and the Melotus added detuned subharmonics.

But while that felt very clever to me and I was happy to figure out how to do that, it made the patch to predictable, so we just randomized all that.

Pam's other channels are modulating the Fold and Morph pots on the BIA along with the Percussion Model so the tones from the BIA change a lot and in interesting ways.
