An attempt to do a version of Steve Reich's piece "Four Organs", using time stretch to make it more in tune with his "Slow Motion Sound" concept (http://music.columbia.edu/cmc/musicandcomputers/popups/chapter5/xbit_5_1.php). 
I kept the shakers in place, but all the organ notes are stretched out versions of the first two notes.
I'm putting this online for people who aleady have the original and like timestretching. If you like the piece, please buy the original.

TRS044 will be the seventh and last of the "Chocolate Box" series...this 4 track minidisc release of electronically treated piano music, by Gideon Wolf, comes in a box full of vintage gadgetry/tubes/transistors/circuit board, and other electronic ephemera from the workshop of Ken Herrick...out on July 27th...in an edition of just 65 copies!

This Easel-only piece was multi-tracked in Ableton Live.  Push 2 was used for sequencing.  Mixed with Universal Audio plugins.

I live in Oakland. I mostly play drum machine, but also work with processing/sampling other sounds. Most of this music is based on improvisation.
