The Chase

This is the first song I ever wrote in reason back with version 1.0 (around 2001?). Figured it was about time to post it up

Intro to an album, slow downtempo with arpegiating bell like sounds... sounds like it would be a soundtrack to a spaceship docking into a space station in a sci-fi film or ending credits possibly. Written entirely in propellerheads reason (as all my songs are) with the KHS One RE synth (except choirs).

The Landing Approach

My first attempt at creating a song in this genre. I would describe this as early 2000s pop Anthem Rave / Trance

New Original Song. Written 100% in Propellerheads Reason. Using the following Rack extentions: KHS One synth, Rob Papen PunchBDRE, Audio Realism ReDominator, and some of the included synths (Subtractor, and Redrum).

Night - Demo track

Trancy Dark Electronic song. Written entirely using Propellerheads Reason and Rob Papen Predator and Punch BD RE. The only additional elements are the Ozone Maximizer, and one loop used for the fill drum loop (DREX).

Wandering Lost

This is a remaster (2016) of one of my old reason songs created back in 2007 called "R7". The old version is also uploaded on soundcloud for comparison.

The differences are subtle, but a trained ear should hear them. The actual changes in the song are an enhanced synth bass behind the guitar to bring out the low end, and some minor changes to the overall parts of the song. Major mastering update with mid-side eq, and I tried to bring out more of the hidden parts of the song.

R7 (remaster 2016)

This is an original song for the Blamsoft Hyperwave Synthesizer challenge. The song can be described as a Futurepop 'like' song. This song is using the Blamsoft Expanse Hyperwave Synthesizer for all synthesized sounds heard. Drums are from the redrum device (reason).

Contemplation

This is a remake of an original song I made about 10(?) years ago originally in Propellerheads Reason. I was able to take all of the sequencing from the original song and re-work it with the Dave Smith Ob-6 synthesizer. 

All sounds are from the Dave Smith Ob-6 except drums, and some post processing effects (Delay, reverb, mastering)

Analog Dreams

My first Finished track with the Dave Smith Instruments (Sequential) Prophet 6. This also has the OB-6 on two small parts, but is 99% Prophet 6. Patches are either factory, variations of factory, or from the Old Men of Midi Sound bank.
