The people I follow know that sooner or later I'll visit their SC page to listen to their compositions. It's a ritual I do 4-5 times a year. And when I say listen... I mean really listen.

I do it because I like certain styles. Other times it's the technique. Other times it's the composition. Other times... simply to learn.
The truth is that music, as an element of communication, tells me a lot about the creator's intention, how it interprets certain themes, and even conveys a certain profile of the composer himself.

It's hard to explain, but it's as I say.

This composition is introspective and brings together some of my favorite styles, such as melodic, rock, and electronic.

I named it this because it corresponds to a period when my listening became more pronounced and I didn't have anyone to listen to me at the time.

It's certainly a strange composition, especially because of certain percussion sections (understood as self-criticism).

I will be grateful for your comments, as always.

He walks toward certain doom. With nothing left but the weight of memory and resignation, he follows the path of despair. The battle is already lost, yet he marches—not for victory, but for honor. For remembrance. For the fallen.
Hope has long since faded, but resolve burns quietly on. Let the cello weep and the piano echo the footsteps of the forsaken.

Emergence [orchestral/soundtrack]

This original orchestral piece sounds a little like orchestral/soundtrack film music but that was not the original intent. Although i do love film music too. As they always say, music is the flower of feeling and I hope that came across. Maybe I was just so appreciative to know that spring was coming after a very cold winter? A new beginning.

Emergence [Orchestral/Film music]

This track is my very personal take at the Koan "Hear the Clap of your Hand". My lyrics version (https://soundcloud.com/konrad-spittelberg/the-clap-of-one-hand-pp) might make things clearer. (yes, this is my sneaky strategy to guide you from one song to another :-))

Compositionwise, the track is roughly split into two equal parts. The first part introduces its cinematic theme in the very beginning, taking it thereafter up several times with slightly different accentuations and rhythms which gives it a fresh feel with different highlighted nuances in each repetition. Several interludes contribute to the cinematic feeling. 

The second part, starting @1.53 starts by a more Jazzy version of the main theme. However, from 2.20 onwards, it is very restricted in its harmonies - only two harmonies are used from thereon until the end, C major and C# major. The tension arises purely from the rhythmic changes (such as the shift from 4/4 to 3/4 @3.17 and back), climaxing at the end.
