Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a groove-heavy house music release by Iglesias and Latmun.

Latmun and Iglesias have previously collaborated on the likes of Jamie Jones' Hottrax and Sola, but each is also a successful solo artist.

Iglesias is a Spanish artist returning to Mindshake after the success of his recent 'Dance To My Drums' EP. He has also featured his stripped-back and percussive style on other imprints including Moon Harbour, Toolroom and Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars.

Making his debut on Mindshake, Latmun joins the imprint following high-profile releases on Hot Creations, Kaluki Musik, Relief and Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC. Based in the UK, he is also a popular DJ who regularly plays at events ranging from Manchester's Warehouse Project to Ibiza's DC-10.
'Duffman' is an '80s inspired track that samples a classic and fuses it with techy percussion and an infectious bassline.'In The Mood' has a sub-heavy bassline and dark atmosphere layered with flowing percussion and a funky vocal sample with hip hop undertones.

Opening with the title track, ‘Express’ brings together lush synth pads, simmering hi-hats, and echoed vocal snippets, crafting a warm, hypnotic energy that reflects the pair’s signature sound. RUZE steps in to reimagine the original with a sun-soaked, transportive flair, adding vibrant textures and an irresistible late-night feel. On ‘Listen’, Prunk and RED 87 showcase their knack for stripped-back club music, layering rippling melodies and tight, luscious percussion built for both the dancefloor and the afters. Speaking of the EP, Woolford explains, “‘House Hits’ is about super-direct tracks with no pretense, of all persuasions, that have created the key moments from my sets. Built to absolutely rock clubs, basements and warehouses the world over.”

The EP kicks off with Story Of My Life. The track uses an old-school house vocal, prominent drum pads and an undeniable groove that’s sure to gets dance floors pulsating. The EP then leads into Don’t Waste My Time, a percussive led, pounding techno number that utilises ghetto house vocals and a low-slung bassline.

Paul Woolford has been a key figure in the house music scene for more than two decades. Manchester producer Joseph Edmund joins Hottrax with three intricate house numbers entitled ‘The Pressure’ this October.

Having appeared on Sola last year, Edmund’s tracks are continually supported by the upper echelons of house music, regularly featured in the sets of Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Nathan Barato, Latmun, Detlef, and Butane. The British artist now continues his unfaltering momentum, bringing three stripped back cuts to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax, with follow up releases set to land via Sola, Solid Grooves and Little Helpers.

Whirring acid join a sultry bassline in ‘The Pressure’ whilst a murky vocal repeats the track title. ‘Middle Man’ is next, with its sharp hats, growling low-end and glitchy effects. Tying it all together, ‘Breathe’ is a rhythmic roller complete with elaborate percussion, echoing snares and a manifold of echoing elements.
