After going back and forth with a great friend (you know yourself!) - on a sermon they had heard - I was listening to that same sermon today (March 20, 2019.)I caught hold of some words that hit home hard in this time of my life. The preacher said, "Your next season's ability is dependent on the last season's responsibility." I interpreted that as "God leaves responsibility on us, each season of life, in hopes that when we are ready He returns with the next phase seeing that the past season prepared us for the prosperity (blessing) of the next." One thing I've been working on at home after a season of work has been getting into the mindset of work again but dwelling abundantly in laziness. I've been looking at it as a burden more than I have acknowledged it as a responsibility. But to let it go by, I see that when I pray for the things I wish to be responsible for, those prayers return denied because I did not steward what I had before. Why would God bless me with more when I did not work with the less? So Matty boy, let's go "Work". Twende Kazi!
