DJ/Producer Matt Olivette, a native to New York, has been sharing his musical journey for over two decades. At young age, his interest in multiple genres of music including: Afro Tribe, Classical, Eclectic Rhythms, Jazz, Funk, and Techno prepared Olivette for his surprising career in the house music industry. 
In the late 90’s Olivette was introduced to the New York City super club scene and quickly fell in love with the sound of such talent: Jonathan Peters, Johnny Vicious, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, John Creamer and Stephane K, Mind Control, and Masi and Mello.  Olivette shortly thereafter purchased equipment and began creating a unique sound of his own.  By the early 2000’s, several clubs in the Hudson Valley, including Area 51 and Intrigue, had given him residency.  Matt Olivette continued to progress at a rapid rate and, before he knew it, super clubs such as: Crobar, Guest House, Pacha, and others such as Venue and Millesime were contacting him to work their dance floors.
Matt Olivette is a seasoned DJ containing an element of versatility that is second to none.  His music ingenuity allows his listeners an organic experience containing a uniqueness that cannot be duplicated.  Olivette’s sets and productions have a solid tech foundation juxtaposed with tribal elements; however, Matt is not afraid to garnish them with the perfect vocal overlay.
Recently, Matt Olivette produced several tracks: Tamara Wallace – Back to You (live edit), Matt Olivette feat. Joey Taibi (original Mix), and Steffi – Yours.  Continuing to fulfill his passion, Olivette has a seasonal residency at Vibe Sundays Beach and he is the creator of Beats and Beers (a unique experience and collaboration with several venues throughout the tri-state area).  In the near future, Matt is looking to increase his festival presence; particularly, BPM Mexico, Bloop Art Festival, Burning Man, Art Basel, and the Winter Music Conference.
