A deep and brooding House cut by Matt Prehn with social commentary that talks about some of the issues facing poorer communities especially in 3rd world countries like South Africa.
Released on Delve Deeper in August 2025 with a searing bassline and shuffling percussion to get the dancefloor moving and poignant vocals to get the dancefloor thinking.

A brooding and building cut with a slight French feel - really tried to rinse the tension on this one and the release comes right at the end with the final piano riff.

Shuffling beats drive a funky bassline and playful, tongue-in-cheek vocal.. but it’s the offbeat melody that swoops in periodically that really adds the drama.

This cut goes back a few years to when the original label (Winding Road) ran a remix competition.
I made it to the final 3 but then the label/comp went quiet.

I gave away my version for free then but it left a lot to be desired production wise, that was 3 years ago. 
I’ve now reworked this from ground up, added some new sounds and general beef and am giving it away free again – all in the festive spirit of season.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I still do.

Capetonian DJ and Producer Matt Prehn's musical journey started in the mid-90s when vinyl ruled the Rave and social media didn't exist. Inspired by the sounds emanating from SA's underground clubs and after-hour parties Matt began producing his own music and later founded Oh So Coy and Rogue Decibels, the labels amassing over 200 digital and 10 vinyl releases to date. 

He's been recognized as one of the "Traxsource Top 100 Deep House Artists" and has released music on acclaimed labels such as Large Music, i! Records, King Street and Tango. With a career spanning 20+ years Matt has performed locally at Truth, Era, We House Sundays, Mzolis and gigged internationally in England, France, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic and Amsterdam.
