Dream About You is a indie rock track I wrote as part of a trilogy of songs for the end of 2023. It is about coming to terms with the loss of something very strongly desired and then settling for daydreams instead.

Recorded in Jacksonville, Florida in 2023 and finalized in December 2024, the recording process itself was a unique experience, with vocals captured on the beach at night to capture the essence of the song. MatAre's upcoming album promises to further showcase his evolution as an artist, with "The Siren" standing out as a mesmerizing preview of what's to come.

Lead single from Matare off their upcoming album, "Extinction Burst". Attach Your Memories is a carefree, nostalgic song evoking images of personified elements of nature and a deep sense of longing. Mixed and mastered by Gabe Wolf with drums from Francesca Pratt. This is the opening song from Extinction Burst and is meant to be a palette cleanse for the rest of the album which becomes more fierce and chaotic.

Scheduled for release on July 15th, 2025, "I Could Kill You But I Love You" delves into a narrative that juxtaposes feelings of hatred and love. With its passive-aggressive yet upbeat nature, the song conceals deeper emotions beneath its catchy melody. Recorded in Matare's home studio in Sarasota, Florida, the single stands out as a standout track on Matare's upcoming album, showcasing a raw and authentic approach to music production. This release showcases Matare's ability to seamlessly blend diverse influences into a cohesive and compelling musical experience.
