Early support from Super Flu, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Marc Poppcke, Oliver Weiter, Jos & Eli, Darin Epsilon, Roy Rosenfeld, Robert Babicz, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Soul Button, BOg, Nick Warren, Jamie Stevens, Lonya Label bosses Javier Portilla & Sotela team up and deliver 'Don't Get Lost' on their fine Moonchild Records imprint. Lets kick off with the original, and its a brooding bubbling baselined gem, slowly meandering along as it builds, layered with tasty vocal effects as the vibe phaetons throughout. As we get to the drop, high strings and pads land creating tension, making this a solid dance floor gem. The first of the remixes comes from Cid Inc, who utilises the bassline to maximum effect, filtering the pattern, and adding techier beats and big chunky synthy bass like hits, which adds an extra top line in the drop before pouring back in to action! The Toffs deliver two mixes, first up is 'Toffts Remix', creating a groove, and subtly using the bassline, bringing it in and out, whilst the journey slowly unfurls... The second of their mixes is the'Tofts Club Mix', which strips things back to a minimal workout, plenty of trippy fx and snippets of vocal that meet rising and descending tones.

Making his debut on Praveen Achary’s Juicebox Music is London (UK) based Nichols, with a 4-track EP titled ‘Nascent State’. Grant Nichols along with Matt Tanner (Dysart) made waves under their techno-outfit ‘Soul of Noise’, having played alongside Carl Cox’s ‘Playground Experience’ stage at Burning Man as well as the Bedrock night at Fire&Lightbox in London. His solo outing as “Nichols” started off with a bang when his debut ‘Ethereality’ EP got signed to Nick Warren’s “The Soundgarden”, earning numerous plays & heavy support from Hernan Cattaneo, Marc Poppcke and the main man himself.

Wasting no time & bringing it all to the table, Nichols’ ‘Nascent State’ EP infuses the deeper & more melodic soundscapes along with tough tech-grooves, a sound that Nichols’ is honing to perfection. The EP wades through the darker waters with “Timeslide”, to the warmer territory on “Harlequin”, leading to the brighter & euphoric lift of “Nascent State” and culminating with “The Stand”, a fitting melancholic finale.

Cid Inc. returns to his Replug Records imprint for the much anticipated follow-up to his chart topping ‘Abyss'. Released in April of this year, the peak time opus enjoyed a two week long stay atop Beatport's Progressive House tracks chart. Aided by months of live play from Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, the boundless eight minute journey firmly sits as one of the year's best in progressive house. Now as the summer season winds to a close Cid Inc. presents the much anticipated follow-up entitled ‘Bird Cherry'.

For an artist who has captured the imagination of progressive music fans for over a decade, Cid Inc. has raised the bar yet again with ‘Bird Cherry'. From its lively beginnings you're immediately captivated as tight beats, buoyant bass tones and finely tuned percussion converge for the ultimate rhythmic wave. Sparse yet timely, ghostly effects add further anticipation before crunchy stabs steal the air as the main break commences. The centerpiece shifts the narrative into emotive territory as blissful harmonics and warm chord changes lead to a swirling synth vortex for the ages.

Equally stunning is the companion piece ‘Fear and Square'. Opening up with a punchy yet warm groove, Cid Inc's finest production hallmarks are on top form here. Hypnotic and fluid, the pulsating framework gets adorned with ghostly atmospheres, smooth rhythmic artefacts and a deadly, hip swinging arp. Adding further fuel to the fire a vocal narrative and growling stabs highlight the break, lost in a forest of cascading electronics and shifty harmonics before a timely roll sparks a dynamic drop.

Two of the most earnest techno acts in the scene, ARTBAT links up with Matador and his RUKUS imprint for their debut collaboration 'Apollo 11' - a direct and out of this world two-tracker named after the first successful moon landing.

The Kiev-based duo and the Irish DJ-producer have handed the title-track over to Mixmag ahead of the record's release on March 15. Presenting his first project of 2019, Cid Inc. returns to Replug Records with 'Via Karelia'. 2018 saw the Finnish artist release two of progressive music's most widely acclaimed and sought after EP's in 'Bird Cherry' and 'Abyss'. The two track offerings yielded play and support from his most revered contemporaries, namely Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Resounding chart success followed, with the title selections respectively reaching #1 and #2 in the Beatport Progressive House Top 100 tracks. Now after months of road testing and refinement, Cid Inc. unveils his much anticipated 'Via Karelia' EP to kick off 2019.

With over a decade of production credits under his Cid Inc. moniker, Replug label boss Henri Hurtig has continued to flourish. Sitting in the upper echelon of progressive music's elite, the Finnish producer continues his story with 'Via Karelia'. Following a prelude of warm beats, hip swinging percussion and electric stabs, comes redolent rhythms and  juxtaposed motifs. Tastefully timeless and evolving with an energetic flair, it's a melodic theme which shifts the narrative further into euphoric territory. Free flowing harmonics add depth and emotion, coming to full fruition during the main break and elegantly peaking for a spirited final act.

Rounding out the release in fine fashion are the dreamy tech-vibes of 'Turning Pages'. Showcasing a similar rhythmic prowess to its predecessor, a tightly knit core and rugged stabs aim squarely for the dance floor, while an airy, atmospheric resonance delivers a subtle yet powerful emotional response. Returning to Sudbeat are Baunder and Interaxxis with a clever three-tracker called 'Neutral'. 

Over the last 15 years, Baunder and his production partner, Oliverio Sofia, have delivered some of the scenes greatest music under their alias Soundexile. Equally, Interaxxis have blazed a trail with music signed to a number of high profile labels. Having worked together already, with tracks on Tulipa and Plattenbank, Baunder and Interaxxis are a formidable team. 

Indeed, opening track 'Neutral' kick off in fine form with a bouncy, rolling groove and rubbery bassline. Pleasing sonics adds an air of summery warmth as piano pads reassure with a hint of the familiar. Aimed squarely at the warm up floors, this will keep the crowds content all summer long. 

Next up, 'Harmonious' opens with a sparse woodblock groove. Melodics soon develop over the course of the track adding delicate charm throughout. The Slow Mix of 'Harmonious' is a completely different vibe though. Deeper and more intricate, it opens ambiently organically revealing a cornucopia of emotional fayre for those daytime moments where the thrill of the electronic cabaret is a little too intense.

In celebration of Replug’s ten year anniversary Cid Inc & Orsen present their debut collaboration alongside remixes from Nick Muir and Barry Jamieson. Founded in 2009 by Finnish artist and DJ Henri Hurtig aka Cid Inc., Replug has carefully forged a path to progressive music excellence. Through releasing much of Henri’s most sought after material to the genre’s freshest artists, the label has continued to flourish and forever has it’s finger on the pulse of the movement. Having already released his ‘Look Twice’ EP in March of 2015, it was January of 2016 which saw UK born, Austria based artist Dan Baseley aka Orsen take over the label’s managerial duties. A key moment in Replug's journey, as Cid Inc’s tour schedule and mastering service had left him less time to focus on the label. Moving forward the duo proved to be a great team, with Replug furthering itself as a premiere destination for progressive music’s most sought after talent. Now in what has been a remarkable decade long journey, it seems only appropriate that Cid Inc and Orsen unite to commemorate the occasion with the aptly titled ‘Ten’. 

From the opening bars of ‘Ten’ you get an immediate sense of how strong the creative synergy is between Cid Inc and Orsen. Powerful and inviting, it’s warm foundation is full of contour and character, while a buzzing tone and rugged design build tension as the narrative takes shape. Hitting early, a short break serves to introduce an astral arp, playing off the rhythmic elements and adding further cadence to already swing heavy groove. Spanning over a minute in length, it is the second and final break which provides a unique contrast of emotion and drama. As modulation reaches a feverous peak, impassioned chord changes offset the metallic wall, before getting washed away into a wave of cosmic effects as the groove drops for a thunderous finale.
