This is exactly why I don't want kids. The entire system needs to be uprooted--turned on it's head--before it'll be of any use to the students in it. One can homeschool, of course, but I don't have the time, the energy, the intelligence, the anything to homeschool kids. Tack on quick and easy access to pornography, genetically modified foods, consumerism, etc, and you'll find we live in a world that is nothing but dangerous--hostile even--to children. Maybe I'm a tin foil hatter, but if I had kids I wouldn't be happy unless I was able to homeschool them from a completely secluded, organic hobby farm.
