During the last years of my teen days, I lost three amazing friends. One that was at the wrong place at the wrong time, one that fought hard but lost his battle against cancer, and one who tragically took his own life. I dedicate this song to Travis, Vincent, and AJ. Wishing I could go back in time to spend one more day with y'all, when times were different.

A Different Time

ONLY NOW is a reminder to be here now; to pour ourselves fully into the present moment. It is through this moment that we enter the unknown, where all potential exists, embracing our own divinity and surrendering to a higher orchestration of reality. We must no longer live lives built upon deferred payment plans, denying ourselves the happiness and unconditional love we deserve now. That paradigm is backwards and simply encourages us to work harder in the thick of thin things. We get caught up like a dog chasing its own tail, only to realize what we seek has been within us all along. It's when we finally decide to get quiet and go within that we can see the abundant and transcendent nature of now, that we can escape the automated 2 Dimensional rat race, and create from the expanded present.
