Deep Melodic House Mix 001

I've been really enjoying Afro House lately; it pairs perfectly with warm, summer evening drives while I'm at work. I decided to compile some of my favorite tracks into this mix. I hope you enjoy it!

A Drum & Bass mix I did back in 2004. Recently rediscovered after going through a bunch of old Mini Discs. Recorded on a standard MD walkman so not the best quality but hope you enjoy it!

Drum & Bass Mix 2004

Hello! I began DJ'ing in the late '90s with some dodgy, unresponsive belt-drive decks and a wobbly old mixer with crackly punch buttons and a leaky crossfader.  I started playing mid to late '90s trance but eventually transitioned to Hip Hop and Drum & Bass.  

In the early 2000s, I upgraded to Technics 1210s and a decent mixer, but sold the mixer when I left London and never replaced it... I still have my turntables and vinyl so I might dust them off some day.  Now, almost 20 years later, I've decided to return to mixing and have embraced the digital world. 

Lately, I've been enjoying Deep, Progressive, Melodic, Organic and Afro House, so much of my content will focus on those genres, though I still have a passion for D&B.  Since I spend a lot of time driving, I started recording mixes to listen to at work and thought I'd share them online too. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoy creating them.
