I listened to a podcast this week that featured Tara Kemp - an artist who had two major pop soul hits in the early 90s. Then, a product of industry politics, her mainstream career ended as quickly as it started. I always liked her song 'Hold You Tight' so I decided to mix it. Samples include: bass from Nu Shooz 'I Can't Wait', snare from Cathy Dennis' 'You Lied to Me', some vibes from Barbara Tucker 'Beautiful People' and Lisa Stansfield's 'Change'.
