Again And Again (24.10.2021)

Bluegrass-inspired dancin' music! I've had this tune rolling around in my head (and my journal) for a few months now and I decided it was finally time to crank some of these out into the real world. All instrumentation and voices are done by me.

I think this might be the most professional sounding thing I've ever made, and I really like listening to it! (which doesn't happen often with my own music)I've always wanted to try handclaps :), but I think what really did it is the electric mandolin because the tone is beautiful.

Dear Sister

Day 14 of the challenge, I'm still working away from home with my handy dandy laptop. In a way, it's a continuation on yesterday's storyline.

There was a quest challenge I wanted to tackle a few days ago regarding "inverting the melody", so today I decided to use yesterday's melody. Then I threw it in this bizarre synth sample (still playing around with those, yup). This one is under Motion Sequences called "Close Encounters" on Logic Pro 9 (yeah, my laptop is too janky to update to Logic Pro X, rip). So yeah, to me it sounds more like it was in space than my tune from yesterday.
