The dream became a reality on Friday June 13th as I took on the iconic decks in Ministry's Of Sound's Room 103 for the Future x Citizens launch party. I still have my MoS Annual III from when I was 14 and having been in front of these decks countless times, it felt so surreal to be standing the other side of them.

I opened MoS with the set at 10:30pm so it's a power half hour kicking off with some melodic house faves before moving onto some all out anthems.

Thanks so much for everyone that liked & commented on my post on Phil Harris' video to get me to Ministry and especially those that came to support on the night (special mention to the person who flew in for it - you know who you are).

My debut Ministry of Sound Main Room 103 as support for DJ Chapter and Verse after he selected me in his competition. This set was for Room 103 which is very commercial, so I adapted to the crowd whilst keeping my own vibe and style. It's a total mix of genres, energy and feels and I hope you love it and it makes you happy :) <3

Next up for our mixtape series is scene veteran Laynee! With 27 years experience, she aims to play an ecclectic mix of new & classic tunes to get your feet moving. Laynee has played at many venues including Hangar, Opium, The Guinness Storehouse, The Button Factory, The Soundhouse & Wiley Fox & Berlin/Pawn Shop. She has supported major acts such as 808 State, Shades Of Rhythm, Joey Beltram, Billy Nasty, Leeroy (Prodigy), Mr C, Judge Jules, Anne Savage, Capella, Danny Gould, K-Klass & Rozalla amongst others. She has played Techno sets at MASS & Day of the Dead festivals & recently supported deck wizard Argy in Soho, Dublin. Laynee hosts her own monthly show called ‘Vibrations’ on Phever.ie and a weekly show on Mondays on Biggest Disco Radio called ‘Spektrum’. Currently she holds residencies with the Flashback, Re-Jen & Soberbeats collectives & has played 4 hour House sets in The Wiley Fox & Izakaya Basement bar in Dublin City.
