The most commonly asked question when in a cover band is: "Where's all your originals?" Fat Albert have theirs, and here is my little solo project. I recorded this a good few years ago now, with Tristam Horn in SAE studios, Brisbane. With help overseeing the project by Lockie J. Buggy. Just a few tracks I've penned over the years. I recorded 6 tracks in 2 hours, and have sat around doing nothing... Until now!

I'm currently in the process of recording these songs professionally at Lokdawg Studios and will hopefully have a finished product by then end of the year.

These songs are available to download, due to being only demo tracks, please use them for private use and not copy them. Once my E.P is released you can have a flash copy. Hope you like them. Be sure to drop some feedback, good or bad :)

And the live tracks were recorded by Sean Andrews (aka DJ KangaPaws) at Coalcliff SLSC in February 2012. Just a few tracks I've penned over the years. I recorded 6 tracks in 2 hours, and have sat around doing nothing... Until now!

As the front man for 11 years with Australian Rock Band, Fat Albert, Matt Buggy is a seasoned veteran of the Aussie music scene. Having done supports, played alongside, and shared the stage with many local and international acts, such as: Coolio, Amity Affliction, The Tea Party's Jeff Martin, Screaming Jets, Choirboys, Radiators, The Feelers, Gasoline Inc, Marshall and the Fro,
Dallas Frasca & Oh Mercy. With the band, they were hand picked to play for surfing's ASP World Title after party event for Joel Parkinson, as well as play for the Quicksilver Pro.

Early in his career, he used to do guitar technician work at major Australian music festivals including: The Big Day Out and the Gympie Muster, for a range of high class Musicians and Entertainers.

Constantly touring the East Coast of the country,
through the Northern Territory and beyond, the road is the only road he knows. Stripping it all right back with an acoustic guitar, and steel belted tonsils, you can expect a dynamic range of diverse cover and original tracks, delicately picked and handcrafted for the ears of music
lovers the world over. Always keen for a yarn, and a good time, come say G'day and maybe share an ale or two. Nearly always playing in a town near you...
