Italian artist Sante Sansone debuts on Hottrax with a stripped-back house two-tracker entitled ‘Quarantine’ this July.

Over the last decade, Sante Sansone has gone from rising talent to an accomplished DJ and producer, whether performing all across Europe, or releasing on labels such as Lapsus Music, La Pera Records and Lost Records. He now joins Jamie Jones’s Hottrax following recent appearances from the likes of Wheats, David Berrie, Onur Ozman and East End Dubs.

All about the groove, ‘Quarantine’ is a tracky house cut with crunchy percussion, squelchy acid licks and indistinguishable vocal murmurs that put you into a trance. In comparison, ‘Fantasia’ is a tougher number with its pounding kicks, rattling hats and bubbling effects.

Sidney Charles' Heavy House Society label continues in its rich vein of form with the new release from Amsterdam based artist, Luuk Van Dijk. Having played sets at Paradise, Awakenings, elrow, and DGTL plus he has held a residency at Straf_Werk, whilst releasing on labels like Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Do Not Sleeps and his own Dark Side of The Sun, Van Dijk now drops his debut slick 3 track EP release on Charles's Heavy House Society label. 

The title track of the EP, Serious Danger, kicks off the proceedings with its stripped and minimal groove, combining with old school pads and its shuffling hi hat groove. 

Everything I Want, is the second track on the EP. This is a smooth tech house number. With its bouncing bassline, telephone call incidentals, and slick production this is classy production.

The third and last track on the package is What You Like, which is a solid house groover, old school vocal cuts, and an almost Todd Terry esq jacking beat give this track its identity. 

Once again Sidney Charles' Heavy House Society delivers an essential EP...
