In Japan, the last day of the year is called 'Ōmisoka,' and the bell-like sound, the 'Joya no Kane,' featured in this song, is rung 108 times at temples throughout the country on the midnight of New Year's Eve. Watching the 'first sunrise' on New Year's Day is also considered auspicious, and while not everyone participates, this custom is still observed. AMALGAMATION ft. joerxworx

This is my brand new project, in 3 parts. I've made over 400 new tracks in the past 8 months on my iPad since I got deep into Koala Sampler. I know theres a lot to get through but these were the tracks that were good enough but didn't fit my last project, 'For The Soul'. Theres a nice blend of influences and styles, so hopefully theres a few people will like.

DKODA - Double Meaning

Out on the porch, pickin' & grinnin' & drinking beer, waiting for the fiddle player and the mandolin guy. Neither one showed, so we did the best we could with the guitars. My daughter Julia helped out on the vocal harmonies.

This little ditty is my attempt to musically chronicle the 46 years my wife & I have been together.
