I don't know what Jamie has really said to you about this, but you have a lot of freedom to do what you want. The chord pattern is really straight forward with a few bass note changes in the chorus. The bridge has a walk down and up which is quite big in the fullband version. It'd be nice to keep some of that but other than that, it's yours.
