Deeper Love

Matt E Love is synonymous with the 90's underground rave scene. His early inspirations were the sounds of DJs:  Doc Martin, Derrick Carter, Hipp-e, DJ Alb-e, Dale Charles, and Sasha to name a few. Matt headlined underground parties, music festivals and top club nights across the U.S. before the age of 20. 

At age 21 Matt opened a Record Store outside of Boston called Bassline Records which specialized in the purveying of domestic and imported dance music. Often serving world class DJs with limited release test pressings and white labels. Shortly after the opening of his record store, Matt took his unique taste for “bassline heavy” House and Techno into the setup of his own Recording Studio (The Bassline Lab) where he produced several hit dance tracks, including The Frog King, Never Gonna Stop, Future Mode and more for music labels such as Element Recording, Syncopate Records and Monophonic. 

On the heels of his successful music releases, Matt found himself leading a jet setting dj career in Austria, Germany, The UK, France and Spain opening for DJ’s such as Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Danny Teneglia and more. 

After steadily touring for many years professionally, Matt decided to turn his focus onto a tech startup called Red Fish Media which he founded in 2004. Matt sold Red Fish in 2017. Matt continues to play special events for friends and family. And to quote the great Frankie Bones, he’s still your favorite DJs, favorite DJ.

Today you are more likely to find Matt on stage at a large conference delivering a keynote how DJing fueled his entrepreneurial spirit or at Imperial Moto, the specialty coffee brand he formed in 2016.
