A sketch for a soundtrack I work on right now, based on the script "Il Riso" (by Tommaso Landolfi). The story tells of a man that hires a killer to kill himself. The killer is the Death himself. 
The whole sound design is mine.

This is intended as a long ambient loop repeating again and again. It plays at 90 bpm and should loop at bar 209 (here is presented with a coda). The sparse piano melody is an improvised sketch that should be improvised in every new take.

John's Gospel - Layer 11 (sketch)

This week's haiku is by Amy Powell:

'The chirping of crickets in the night / Is intermittent, / Like the twinkling of stars.'

This is a modular synth track, with a sequence being shared out between three oscillators that play over a static bass note. The sequences change key as the track progresses, but the bass note never changes. Over this are synthesised cricket noises that intermittently and semi-randomly appear and disappear.
