My love for electronic music has begun in the earlier 80s, when I ..decided to buy Metamatic, the fantastic lp of John Foxx. I immediately..understood that experimental and synth music will sign my future. ..To be honest it’s not the only kind of music I love. When music is able ..to arouse feelings, than we are in front of artistic production...Music that influenced me: John Foxx, Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire, Human .. League, Clock DVA. The fist time I listened to “The sonology of sex nr. II” ..I thought: “it’s a real nightmare...really better than a dream!!!”.. From “the sonology of sex nr. II” till now, I have been listening to as much ..music as I could. From jazz to techno...from Dusseldorf to Manchester, from ..Detroit to Chicago, NY, Salzburg and London...... .. .. .. Il crepuscolo del narcisismo e l’iconoclastia!!!

Organico with Marco Scozzaro:
Organico is a performance where Les Pastice© (Marco Scozzaro and Matteo Vaccari) create live sounds and images,
 crafting an organic unicum, a ductile substance that comes into shape and creates
 different nuances as the project evolves. The aim of this project is to trigger a
 reflection on contemporary society, aseptically ruled by stultifying dynamics and to
 propose an interpretation of it that ironically starts from nature, or better said from
 the representation and classification of nature by the modern man. The projections
 consist of continuous hybridization of pictures of dioramas taken in museum of
 natural history with images of desert landscapes, fake flowers, stuffed animals,
 urban landscapes, crowds of people and deranged portraits, paying homage to
Godfrey Reggio’s Koyaanisqatsi aesthetic.
Pictures by Marco Scozzaro are the spin off for the performance; they are animated
 as simple footages in slow motion that overlap in different layers of complexity and
 meaning. At the same time they interbreed with the obsessive and minimalist musical
 textures Matteo Vaccari (aka Mat Scanio) is creating. Elements of synthetic and organic, natural and
 artificial, urban and rural, desert and crowded are continuously mixed together, in
 the same way music and images are produced live and influence one another. The
 analogical synch results in an interface purposely dirty, in the tradition of
 experimental cinema of historical avant gardes rather than the digital aesthetic of
 plug and play. The performance was realized in a private and symbolic dimension;
 the setting is a bourgeois Italian living room, with empty bookshelves and a
 nineteenth-century piano. The ethereal projections on the empty shelves and the
 synths laid on the piano create a sense of alienation and do contribute to evoke a
 bond between the contemporary man and his habitat. The selection of pictures
 wants to bring face to face the world of nature and the world of man, the organic
 and the artificial as the electronic music is produced with machines on top of the
 acoustic instrument par excellence.
