22-year-old, Berlin-based Benjamin Led (aka BEAN) began making music aged 15 using a cracked copy of Ableton he found on his brother's laptop. With influences spanning from Arca to Rachmaninow, the artist has taken to reshaping classical music techniques into electronic music - with some wildly impressive results. His second release on the LA-based label TAR, his 'PSYCHO' EP smashes together frenzied elements of ambient and trance in a wholly transcendental way - with more than a few hints of Evian Christ, doon kanda, and the aforementioned auteur, Arca. In Unison marks the label’s first release under its own name. All tracks in this compilation were composed/written using computer languages.

In times of uncertainty, unity in the digital and non-digital realm is more important than ever. The endless search for new means of communicating through sound and visuals is what drives us forward, as individuals but even more so as a collective being, In Unison.

The Great Sleep is a series of 13 narrative audio mixes that will be aired on Internet Public Radio every first Thursday of the month from December 2019 to December 2020. For each episode, a musician and a visual artist from the Global URL Nation collaborate to develop the story with audiovisual material - a 1h mix and a visual cover, which then serve as a base for written text. Each month, we will post here and on our website a new chapter meant to be heard, seen and read.

Nooit Meer Naar Huis and @conjunktival11 present you Kludde.

Kludde is a shapeshifting waterdemon from belgian folklore that walks on his hind legs and who jumps on to the backs of people wandering outside the city alone at night. When he catches you, you have to walk with him on your back until the first sunlight. Kludde often transforms himself into a tree, small and delicate at first, but rapidly shooting into the clouds, while everything it shadows is thrown into confusion. Again, he presents himself as a black dog, running on its hind-legs, with a chain round its throat; and will spring at the throat of the first person he meets, fling him to the ground, and vanish.

The physical release is in the form of limited edition boosterpacks with unique artworks for each artist. Inside the booster pack you will find 20 tracks and 18 depictions of Kludde. Now available on Bandcamp. Link in profile.
