A one hour blend of Drum & Bass, with a wide selection of styles, sub-genres and vibes. Also known as Matt James Media through his content creation business, Matter is a Plymouth based DJ with a musical skillset that ranges from DnB to Garage, House and Breaks, with some occasional Funk and Disco thrown into the mix for good measure.

Co-founder of Marble, he has been part of the scene for several years and plans on continuing his event series around Britain's Ocean City once the circumstances allow.

The nights are long, and the days are cold, what better reason to stay inside and play on the decks..?

My latest multi-genre mix, starting with House, moving into Garage, and finishing with Drum & Bass. With three festival bookings rolling in for summer 2024 already, I thought I should show off a flavour of what you can expect to hear from me this year. As always, it's pretty varied, and full of surprises.

The 1-Hour Multi-genre Mix: Matter

My full set at the Ranger Sound Car party in Salt Lake City, Utah. Taking over from Silent Reign's fantastic techno set, I thought I'd include my transition from 130 to 145 for shits and gigs.

This is 90 minutes of what I'm currently feeling, which is mostly bouncy nu-trance and breakbeat, with some cheeky UKG in there too. Big love to Scott Haslam and the team for having me down, and to Void Acoustics for the crazy soundsystem - this party absolutely rocked.
