A massive thanks to everyone who shared this Mad Monday with me for my closing set on the Bushtechno stage. This set was super special for me. I just love closing sets and long sets also and this one was something else. The setting, the crowd and the organisation from top to bottom was absolute top notch and to ride this one into the sunset with you all was super special.

Because absolutely nothing compares to music. This language, whose universal vibes can be understood by anybody, connects people around the globe. Great tunes turn strangers into friends. One note expresses more emotions than a thousand words. Music goes on where words fall short. It simply touches your soul. 

Born in Antwerp in 1982, Eran soon discovered his sense of rhythm and passion for sound. One sweet day, the cherished dream of creating his own music and becoming a DJ came true. Inspired by the vibes of past and contemporary electronic music, he started mixing emotive melodies with a contemporary beat. Urged by a strong desire to develop his own DJ style, he soon discovered his path into the kingdom of sound. 

Eran's remarkable musical talent has been astonishing countless party people across the dance floors of Antwerp, Amsterdam, London and Tel Aviv. His sophisticated blend of Deep House, Tech House and Techno manages to surprise the crowd every time. The tracks he harmonically spins and seamlessly mixes tell an intriguing story that can be heard in famous clubs such as La Rocca, Noxx, Café d’ Anvers. 

His musical intuition, great mixing skills and openness for innovative influences make every party worthy of its definition. By consciously adapting his music to the audience and carefully building up the tempo, he succeeds to turn every party into one that will definitely be remembered. 

Key and chord compatibility have no secrets for Eran - once he puts on his headphones, his atmospheric music takes you into a journey you don’t want to end.

We had the honour of touring Roger Martinez in January for a private event and public club show. This is the recording of his public set from a Rooftop in the Melbourne CBD.

Trance inducing DJ-sets, chart topping dance music productions, sound healing meditations, interdisciplinary art-projects and psychedelically infused workshops. Bridging these apparent worlds apart, they all converge in sound artist Roger Martinez.

Roger views a club night or festival as a shamanic ceremony where people gather and have profound experiences through music and dance. During his performances he surrenders himself to creative flow, communicating a unifying experience through the music.

Drawing inspiration from anything between shamanic ceremonies, mountain treks and pop music, his DJ-sets tend to be pan-spectral, transcending genre and style.

A stylistically nomadic producer, his music has found its way onto labels like Lost & Found, Armadillo, Sudbeat, Plattenbank, GEM Records, Tronic.

An uncompromising passion for a contemporary, cutting edge sound is what Cid Inc brings to electronic music. Swedish producer Henri aka Cid Inc began his journey into music production in the early 1990s. Based in his home of Sweden, and soon after relocating to Finland, Cid Inc always had an affinity for cutting edge electronics. It’s an enthusiasm that ultimately led him to electronic dance music - and more specifically, house and techno. Henri always aimed for an innovative approach to his studio work and it was that very trait that led to the birth of Mashtronic in 2004. But, it was the formation of Cid Inc in 2008 which really saw his career go into overdrive, a moniker which has seen him release on the world’s best labels, which includes Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, microCastle, Natura Sonoris and, Sudbeat. Not only is his production skill respected, but, his skills as a mastering engineer is sought after by some of the most widely regarded producers, such as Christian Smith, Pig&Dan, Guy J, and Herman Cattaneo.

In 2018 the producer had several Beatport charts success which saw him play worldwide, and in April it will be Australia’s turn for another visit when he returns exclusively for the highly anticipated Enchanted Gardens Party in Melbourne alongside D-Nox, Einmusik, and past Balance Selections compiler, Quivver.
