On Saturday night at Zouk MX, I was scheduled to play at the Chill Vibes Party at Encanto Beach Club alongside my friend Stef G. Unfortunately, the venue had to close right after I started playing. So, I packed up my gear and headed over to Fragata Beach Club, where the Energia Party was happening.

I hadn’t planned on playing again that night, but Joe and Daniel managed to set up a sound system on the second floor. Stef and I quickly set up our equipment and kept the chill vibes flowing for the rest of the night.

What started as a night full of setbacks turned into one of my favorite sets of the entire congress — chill, improvised, and effortlessly flowy. Sometimes, the best moments are the ones you never see coming.

Lançando uma semana de sets diários com a finalidade de refinar alguns pontos de transições, efeitos e criatividade, a proposta é focar em um ou dois estilos de zouk com uma música inicial que é querida pelo público, as seguintes são escolhidas na hora e sem marcação na música (aonde virar, transicionar, etc), pura contagem e feeling.

Esse treino do episódio 01 foi proposto pelo DJ Raffro para melhorar alguns pontos de transição e faz parte do programa de mentoria Lobos! 

Foi um desafio bem satisfatório de fazer e fiquei relativemente feliz com o resultado, tem uma proposta, mas que eu trouxe para o meu gosto músical do que faz sentido para o meu estilo. Espero que você goste!

Este set é uma oferenda... um ritual sonoro entrelaçado com a pulsação ancestral do Afro House e as texturas profundas e emocionais do Melodic House. Cada remix é um feitiço brasileiro, uma invocação rítmica de espíritos, florestas, tambores e sonhos.

É um retorno ao solo sagrado onde tudo começou para mim: o Afro House. O gênero que primeiro abriu meu caminho, que me sussurrou em batidas e linhas de baixo, agora retorna envolto em melodias que fluem como rios pela alma.
