PUSHMANN, bio After a decade of incessant and persistent work-in clubs all over Spain, Victor M- -has become one of Spain’s top DJs and producers -whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and the house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind body and soul.
PUSHMANN produces a Detroitesque sound with clear and strong influence of European sound, Berlin and Birmingham. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener and take him or her to a higher level. Power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. His special attention and taste for metallic percussion and steel cavernous drums well located in front of everything, almost martia, or warlike. Also draw attention to their surgical and haunting melodies, looped and accelerated to paroxysm. Sophisticated bestiality that stuns and spreads like wildfire. As a DJ, this self-confessed lover of vinyl-and three deck performances- enjoys a refined technique after many years of selecting only the best techno, house and ghetto-techno- sessions defined as strong, energetic and vibrant.

We are closing this year with the very last episode of the MindTrip podcast. For this special show Pfirter invites Token's label head Kr!z for an exclusive 100min mix. After 12 years of curating the discography on Token records, last April he finally used his platform to release his debut EP entitled Mantra that came out on vinyl and digital. Sergio Amaro comienza su andadura allá por el año 97, su larga y evolutiva carrera musical. De trayectoria muy radical, empezó pinchando Techno Classic de Detroit y Chicago de los noventa, para seguir por distintos estilos como el Electro o el EBM, muy influenciado por este ultimo, que marcó su adolescencia por grupos como: A Split Second, Cabaret Voltaire, Skinny Puppy, o Front 242 entre otros…

Hoy por hoy, es totalmente polivalente en cualquier estilo, pero actualmente trabaja con sonidos Techno más crudos, sin olvidar el EBM, Electro, Chicago o Detroit de su juventud, que siguen pasando por sus sesiones.

Durante muchos años estuvo vinculado a Discorder (Madrid), fue donde más se educó musicalmente, por que allí compraba toda su música, y vendía referencias para amigos y clientes. Esa música se la suministraba  Fat Fish, una de sus grandes influencias, pues gracias a artistas como el o Pepo, pudo conocer el EBM a su temprana edad, estilo que lo cogió joven, pero aun así lo cautivó y el cual sus raíces se ven reflejadas en sus sesiones.

Ha trabajado en todas las salas de su ciudad, en algunas siendo residente. Son más que recordadas sus sesiones en Bambina y Zeus, salas donde se consagró como artista y por lo que fue reconocido y solicitado a lo largo del todo el noroeste peninsular, sin olvidar otras muchas: Pacha, Joy, Help, Soda Club, Telefunken, Playa Club, Oh! Coruña, Nite Spot, o el mítico Portiño. Muy vinculado también a este ultimo, el cual visita a menudo, donde hace sus sesiones más largas y se siente más cómodo, por que para el, es el mejor local de su ciudad, con más cultura musical y donde le dejan actuar al libre albedrío, algo que encanta a cualquier artista.

Con la maleta llena de música y de experiencia, le llegó el momento de viajar, visitando así: La Capilla y La Cripta (Vigo), Fabrik y Rxxistance (Madrid), Octopus (Pontevedra), La Estrella (Leon), Metrópolis y Barock (Tenerife) y otras muchas de las que no se olvida. Con el tiempo cruza fronteras para llegar a Portugal y Andorra, también actuó en los míticos clubs de Londres: 1001 Club, Public Life y 54 Club. Ha estado presente en grandes festivales como Amnesia Festival, Fresh Weekend o Free Live y ha participado en las 981 Sessions junto a Toni Rios y Grobas.

Durante todo este tiempo, se ha codeado con los mejores artistas nacionales e internacionales. Gracias a su sencilla personalidad y su forma de trabajar, siguen llamándole para que nos brinde grandes noches con sus sesiones, por donde pasan los sonidos más vanguardistas y electrónicos, mezclados de la manera más elegante y eficaz. Actualmente le dedica tiempo a la producción musical, donde plasmará su propio estilo que ha desarrollado a lo largo de estos años.

After a 15 years of incessant and persistent work-in clubs all over Spain, Victor M- -has become one of Spain’s top DJs and producers -whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and the house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind body and soul.
PUSHMANN produces a Detroitesque sound with clear and strong influence of European sound, Berlin and Birmingham. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener and take him or her to a higher level. Power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. His special attention and taste for metallic percussion and steel cavernous drums well located in front of everything, almost martia, or warlike. Also draw attention to their surgical and haunting melodies, looped and accelerated to paroxysm. Sophisticated bestiality that stuns and spreads like wildfire.
As a DJ, this self-confessed lover of vinyl-and three deck performances- enjoys a refined technique after many years of selecting only the best techno, sessions defined as strong, energetic and vibrant.
