Precision kicks, pitter-patter effects and an escalating melody are joined by a spoken word sample in the bouncy ‘SMML’, before moving into ‘turboshandy’ with its springy bassline, lively synth stabs and heady pitched up vox. Tying things together, ‘heavy bad yin’ is a rumbling cut that powers onwards courtesy of robust drums, swinging hats and a squelchy acid lead.

A regular of Australia’s thriving musical circuit, Kane Dignum aka Little Fritter makes his debut on Hot Creations with Dub Riddem. The EP continues an impressive 2020, that has seen the Gold Coast native’s standout productions land on the likes of Desert Hearts and etcetc already this year.

Those aforementioned features are present right from the offset, as Dub Riddem leads proceedings. A reverberating vocal keeps us hooked, before hard-hitting drums combine with a shimmering cow-bell lead to form a real dancefloor weapon. Puff Puff comes next, with prominent kicks giving way to a chuggy, up-and-down bassline, whilst lyrical samples echo in the background to create a choppy, groove-lead atmosphere. How Lucky Should We Feel? rounds things off in a similarly club-ready vein, merging resonant vocal cuts with punchy drum patterns and bringing shimmering hi-hats in tow.

Little Fritter has been a regular on the electronic music circuit for more than a decade. Having had his first release back in 2008, few artists have stayed as relevant and cutting-edge as the Gold Coast mainstay. Performances at Berlin’s Club De Visionaire and Barcelona’s Off-Sonar cemented his reputation as a respected prospect in the scene.

It is with great pleasure that we bring you @funkytino's ‘Double Dropping EP’, with two original tracks from the man himself and a remix from DJ/Producer duo @biddychafe 💊

Funkytino has had a hell of a year so far, with releases on labels such as Domus, Whoyostro, and not forgetting his remix of ‘Trippin’ which released last month, alongside creating his very own record label Flip Finesse which launched in September. After already having him onboard for the ‘Trippin’ remix we knew we had to get him back for a full blown EP this time 💽
‘Visions’ comes through with a perky bassline, electronic synths and an outstanding vocal bound to have you moving all night 💃🏼 whereas  the B side ‘Double Dropping’ takes you on a more hypnotic journey through the sound of underground🧙‍♂️ Lastly A2 ‘Visions (Biddy & Chafe Remix)’ will have you grooving and singing non-stop all weekend with it’s sharp hats and rhythmic percussion🥁
